The problem with food blogging…

…is how hungry I get! It’s lunchtime here, so maybe it’s not the best time for me to be reading all my favorite food blogs? Mike over at LAFANG, for instance, has a post on Pancit Molo, one of my favourite soups in the world. Thing is, I don’t know how to make the dish. I tried once, and failed miserably. Maybe this is a sign I should try again.

And then I come across An Obsession with Food, which lists an Is My Blog Burning? Roundup, leading me to a mouthwatering recipe of Simple Bread Soup, a too-delicious looking Creamy Tomato Soup with Toasted Almonds, and oy- Broiled Balsamic Panzanella with Zucchini and Onions. I’m starving now. Seriously.

I guess it’s a good thing, then, that Louie and I had dinner last night at Gloria Maris, one of our favourite Chinese restaurants here in Alabang. True to form, we over-ordered and came home with about five bags of leftovers… which means no cooking for us today, so it’s a good thing.

Welcome to SuperSarap, a brand new foodblog about eating in the Philippines. I want to make the distinction early on that this blog won’t be solely about Filipino food- although the latter will certainly feature prominently, I’ll be writing about all types of cuisines and food available to me here, in the suburbs of Manila, Philippines.

I’m so glad you stopped by. Let the yumminess begin.
